Cherry Hill Assisted Living
Let Us Help
In the answers to the questions below, we try to anticipate needs you may have when considering an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one.
What is the difference between an assisted living facility and a nursing home?
Assisted living providers furnish a place to live, meals, and assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating, and managing medications.
People living in an assisted living facility generally have less complicated medical problems than people living in nursing homes.
Assisted living facilities tend to have a less institutional look than nursing homes.
How much does it cost?
Cost can vary by facility, based on services offered and the environment that they maintain. At Cherry Hill, your loved one can receive 24-hour care for less than $8/hour.
How do I pay for care?
Assisted living services are private pay. This means that Medicare and insurance do not pay for care at an assisted living. Some facilities do accept a limited number of Medicaid waiver residents.
